• raw glass rods - Moretti, from Italy

• 2 hands

• torch

• kiln

• sterling silver

• imagination

Look around the world. See the wonderful colours, the landscapes, the beauty. Picture all of this in glass.

Turn on the torch to 1700 degrees. Melt the glass and wrap the molten glass around a steel rod. Build up layers of glass until it is the desired shape and colour. Add fine silver to some beads. Place the bead in a kiln overnight to anneal.

Go back to the images of the world. Design a piece of jewelry. Construct using sterling silver and the handmade beads.
